Yiddish Studies Conference, June 2021–Present
  • Designed, launched, and facilitated, in collaboration with a handful of graduate students and young independent scholars, the first virtual conference, hosted by Harvard Yiddish Studies
  • Recruited and promoted the second virtual conference hosted by University of Toronto, doubling the size and impact
  • Composed MailChimp emails for 400+ subscribers and contributed to selecting papers and creating panels
  • Presented a paper on the effects of Yiddish Duolingo (later published by I n geveb) and organized two panels

Instagram Account, July 2020–Present
  • Launched one of the most popular Instagram accounts about Yiddish, with 125+ posts and 5,000+ followers
  • Created accessible and dynamic content about Yiddish language learning resources, history, and contemporary cultural production around the world
  • Educated followers about women and queer Yiddishists and advocated for feminist causes in Yiddish
  • Compiled and edited two zines with a total of 35 Yiddish language or art submissions from followers

  • Led five online events where dozens of attendees discussed Yiddish texts and politics around a theme
  • Mentored a dozen Yiddishists, supporting them to host their own sessions sharing Yiddish culture

  • Directed six-month project to develop a comprehensive, pluralistic in-house prayerbook
